I made number 84 on the TGO Challenge standby list so it looks unlikely that I'll be lucky this time.
Plans are being made for an alternative: in October 2010 I'm looking forward to a three-week trek in Nepal.

Ah well, there's always next year. Three weeks in Nepal sounds an excellent compromise ;-)
Nothing to do with voluntary work teaching traditional English rugby songs to the Nepalese or anything like that.
I'm going just for the fun of it. I owe it to myself. ;-)
